A few weeks ago, we were surprised by a glorious snowfall! This may not seem like much for those in the east suffering from the effects of a giant nor'easter, but around here, this apparently only happens every 10-15 years! School got out early, we dug our snow clothes out of hibernation, had a ball playing in the snow, and enjoyed coming home for a cozy cup of hot cocoa! It made it feel like it really is Christmas time!

Yay! My kids keep hoping that will happen here...
That will be a great memory for the kids. When I was 10 and we moved to Arizona it snowed there on Christmas for the first time in I don't know how many years. How great that they got to enjoy some extra Christmas cheer! (And who knew it could actually snow in Texas!)
